I believe images have the capacity to change how we perceive the world. My work examines the environmental impact of a range of industrial plants in Taiwan. It seeks to engage the viewer with the challenges we face in adapting our processes and resource consumption to prohibit the toxic impact they have on the environment. We pursue economic growth in full disregard of the natural world that we depend upon. The work contributes to the urgent global conversation that demands we change our systems, methods and behaviours if we are to sustain a liveable planet. We are all victims of environmental crisis, therefore raising environmental awareness is the most vital issue our societies face.
