Libby Simkins
Driven and creative, Libby is a visual/practical designer. From her varied experiences, she has gained a clear and competent understanding of live performance as a whole. Libby is not afraid to think outside of the box and experiment with unusual visuals to create unconventional pieces and pays close attention to the finer details. In recent years, she has designed and built the set for A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Nottingham Playhouse and has worked with City Arts painting a mural celebrating the 100-year anniversary of Arnot Hill Park. Her ultimate ambition is to become a permanent member of a resident or touring company, focusing on scenic painting, construction and prop making.
