I am a Master's student in Illustration with has a passion for nature and animals. My project Love for The Unloved explores the topic of animals living in the city that are often mistreated and abused. Despite their negative reputation, these species are vital to our ecosystem and help in maintaining a healthy biodiversity within cities. The physical outcome of this project is a brand of hand-crafted products which feature a variety of abused species (mice, pigeons, rats etc), but with a focus on looking appealing and adorable, to inspire empathy. My dream is to continue working with animals and nature and I’d love to collaborate with local Zoos or wildlife organisations in order to continue raising awareness over the safety of our environment. I’m hoping to grow my own small business too and hopefully expand the brand that I have created.
