I am an MA Fashion student at Nottingham Trent University, with a background in Fashion Design from Pearl Academy, Mumbai. My practice explores the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and digital innovation, investigating how heritage techniques can evolve within contemporary fashion. My project reinterprets Chikankari embroidery through laser-cut digital fabrication, creating hybrid textile surfaces and sculptural silhouettes inspired by architectural geometries and crystalline natural forms. Through this work, I explore themes of cultural continuity, sustainability, fragility, and transformation. Alongside fashion design, I have experience in trend forecasting, pattern cutting, garment construction, graphic design, digital art, and digital design. Curious, adaptable, and research-driven, I am passionate about creating innovative design solutions and am keen to contribute to fashion brands, design studios, and creative teams that value craftsmanship and forward-thinking design.
