Working under my pen name Umair Najeeb Khan, I am an illustrator, animator & content creator currently enrolled in MA Illustration. Originally from Pakistan, my work explores themes of culture, identity, community, and everyday life through various mediums of visual storytelling. I am particularly interested in creating artwork inspired by food, family, and shared experiences, using these subjects to celebrate cultural heritage and human connection. Alongside personal projects, I have worked with clients including Bloomsbury, HarperCollins, BBC, UNICEF and Coca-Cola. My work combines narrative-driven illustration with humor, warmth, and rich visual detail, often drawing inspiration from food and the stories that surround it. During the course I adopted a more analogue approach in my digital art process. After graduating, I hope to publish my illustrated cookbook & continue exploring food as a central theme in my creative practice and work more with like minded people.
