My name is Katie, and I'm an illustrator with a background in graphic design. I specialise in character design, and I'm pursuing a career as a visual development/concept artist for animated feature films - my dream client is Pixar! I mostly work digitally, and my signature illustrative style is inspired by angular shapes and forms. I am able to combine the skills learned from my BA degree in Graphic Design, and my MA degree in Illustration, to produce compositionally cohesive characters and silhouettes, with a great understanding of negative space and colour. My projects range from character led branding and campaigns, author/illustrated children's books, character concept art, character based murals and illustrated playing cards. I am a highly adaptable creative, and I love what I do!
