I am a third year student studying BA (Hons) Illustration with a practice focused on experimentation. I don’t follow a set style because I enjoy creating in different ways. I work across digital and physical mediums like collage, exploring how materials and techniques can change the message of a piece. I have taken part in IKON Youth Programme, since 2022, which have greatly helped me move towards becoming a professional illustrator with what I learned from my opportunities such as, working with artist Betsy Bradley to redesign the Slow Boat and my illustrations were used in the 2023 publication. These were achievements I was extremely proud of and was able to develop my skills at Nottingham Trent University giving myself a clearer sense of direction within my work and build my skills up more.
