Gina Freeman Oakley finds costume design and hands-on making one of the most fulfilling things to do. She has gained practical industry experience working as a wardrobe assistant on pantomime productions, where she developed skills in garment maintenance, quick changes, and backstage teamwork. During her time at university, she successfully created a Lady Gaga costume, which led her to a passion for leatherwork. She has continued to develop this skill, exploring techniques such as leather moulding. Gina enjoys working across a range of disciplines including tutu making, and millinery. With her commitment to continuous improvement, she hopes to pursue opportunities within the costume industry and further develop her expertise. She has a particular interest in working in film and theatre.
