I am an Irish knitwear designer and maker based in Nottingham, working between heritage craft and contemporary fashion. Originally from Dublin, I create small-batch knitwear using Scottish and Irish wool, combining traditional hand-flat knitting techniques with contemporary design processes.
My work is informed by family histories of tailoring, dressmaking and framework knitting, alongside research into Irish cultural heritage, landscape and identity. I am currently completing an MA in Fashion Knitwear at Nottingham Trent University.
My graduate collection, Endurance: Threads of Discovery, draws inspiration from Irish Antarctic explorer Tom Crean and the landscapes of the Wild Atlantic Way, exploring resilience, movement and longevity through contemporary knitwear.
Alongside my studies, I am the founder of Detta Knitwear and RAESIDE. My work has been selected for Ireland Fashion Week Graduate Showcase 2026, GNCCF Newcastle and Crafted Futures at the OXO Tower with Design Nation.
