Milly Groom

I'm a final-year BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion student with a passion for creative storytelling and brand communication. My final project, Barbies to BHAs, builds on my existing interest in the beauty industry while allowing me to develop my visual communication skills. I created a campaign and app aimed at helping Gen Alpha make informed skincare choices in an oversaturated, trend-driven market. At its core, the project is about simplifying beauty messaging and encouraging kids to be kids—free from pressure to grow up too fast—using a healthy eating approach as a playful and accessible entry point. As I graduate, I’m excited to keep expanding my creative skillset and apply everything I’ve learned to future projects.
