As a final-year textile design student specializing in embroidery, my major project, "Cherished Memories," showcases a spring/summer high-end fashion collection for girls aged 3 to 6. This collection radiates a playful, handcrafted aesthetic, inspired by my nostalgic memories of sunny holidays to teddy bear picnics. These cherished childhood moments evoke a sense of warmth and sentimentality, reflected in pastel blues, pinks, sandy creams, and yellow cotton and line-based fabrics. My goal is to create pieces that encourage families to make their own cherished memories, adding sentimental value to each garment. Through a blend of techniques, including material manipulation, freehand embroidery, multi-head and digital printing, I’ve crafted a luxurious, hand-finished feel to my collection, while ensuring the quality and durability of every stitch. I aspire to work with a fashion or interior design company, where I can continue experimenting with embroidery and print-based techniques.
