Hey! My names Jade and I’m an illustrator from Birmingham. For as long as I can remember I have had a passion in all things animal based. While being at uni, I feel that I have developed a purpose of raising empathy for the animals that may be overlooked or mistreated. I like to do this by sharing their stories, allowing the viewer to grow a connection with them and realise the challenges they may be facing. Knowing that my work could change even one person's perspective fills me with a deep sense of pride, and so this is something I would love to continue with in the future. I consider myself to be a more traditional illustrator, never straying far from a pencil or paints. This is due to their ability to layer, as I have always been interested in texture and feel that it is vital when creating depth in my work. I am really excited to see where my projects end up and where they can lead me in life after uni.
