​I am Emilia, a final year BA(Hons) Textile Design student from Nottingham. I have a deep rooted love for nature and spend most of my free time exploring and appreciating the world around me, this is reflected within my practise through floral, free-flowing, natural design. I am an embroiderer, but have a love for many processes and express my designs through many medias. I am always eager to learn a new process and create freely. Sustainable, slow design sits at the heart of my practice. I am motivated by hand-crafted traditional making, but love combining this with new technologies, such as Digital Embroidery. I love to create organic, beautiful designs that support both people and the planet. I would love to collaborate with others and to share my work as widely as possible, exploring many different avenues and processes along the way. I hope to one day be creating full time, as it is what I love to do.
