I have studied BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion at Nottingham Trent University since 2022. Growing up in Manchester, I feel very connected to the culture and music within the city, and I believe growing up around all this is what shaped my creative identity. I am passionate about a lot of things, however this personal connection and FCP has led me to feel particularly connected to a career in the events and music industry. My final year project Manchester, Dance On explored how we can embrace the D.I.Y spirit of the Madchester scene whilst embracing Manchester’s culture today. I created a concept for an event at Factory in Manchester and alongside that produced a variety of promotional content, such as photography, a zine and a promotional video, combining all my skills. Looking towards the future, I feel very excited and inspired to strive to achieve my ambitions and I hope to be able to create an impact in the events industry and continue to express myself creatively.
