Hi there I’m Lucy. I am an illustrator/creative that has a large focus on impactful art. Provoking inquiry which is designed for further analysis, inviting contemplation and interpretation. I am inspired to create art that exerts tangible, cognitive and pragmatic influence on individuals. "Blind spots in packaging" is a packaging project aiming to create a sensory insight for sighted individuals, simulating the inaccessibility of packaging experienced by those with vision impairments. This project, as well as many others, allowed the exploration of a variety of different materials in order to create a functional outcome that aims to promote change. I have also explored neurological thoughts, delving into the recreation of this experience through immersion. Having a focus on diverse subjects is what drives me, as I believe there are many opportunities yet to be explored and many different ways of displaying problems faced by society.
