Hi, my name is Fin, and I am from London. My illustrations reflect my roots of an inner-city lifestyle and I thoroughly enjoy visualising my curiosity for urban subcultures and all things underground. I frequently take inspiration from music, particularly Hip Hop because of its ties to graffiti, which is another interest of mine, and its mischievous and unapologetic attitude which fills me with creative confidence. I also aim to create illustrations that take potentially uncomfortable feelings and highlight them rather than hide them away. I want to help others confront and work with these feelings and shine light on social issues that I faced growing up in London. Learning to use creativity and illustration in this way has enabled me to overcome feelings of overwhelm and I hope to help others who may also relate to this, so they know they aren’t alone.
