I am a final year BA (Hons) Photography student. My work tends to explore connections and how through photographs we can see bonds, and photographs can become a bond for us to realise how sacred a connection can be. My photographic series 'The Red Thread' is based on the Chinese mythology, in which we are born with a red string attached to our pinky finger, leading us to people we are destined to meet and connect with. This project explores the connection between relationships and how we go about our lives yet there are reminiscences of the people we are destined to meet with. After graduating I hope to use the skills I have developed over the last three years to help me achieve my career goals.
