I am a dedicated multidisciplinary designer with an MA in Textile Design from Nottingham Trent University and three years industry experience, specialising in print and embroidery techniques. My passion lies in creating sustainable designs that incorporate elements of design responsibility. My project 'Jewels of the Sea' delves into the profound impact of human activities on oceans and marine life. Through a combination of multi-head embroidery techniques and laser cutting, I wanted to capture the beauty and tranquillity that lies beneath the sea. By evoking emotions and instilling a sense of compassion in viewers, my work raises awareness about the threats faced by marine life. Through my work I aim to inspire others to take action, to join the fight in protecting our oceans and the life they sustain. As for future plans, I wish to stay in the UK in order to gain experience in the fashion and textiles industry in order to obtain insight of starting my own business back in India.
