I am currently working with the landscape, creating ancient yet timeless landscapes through photographing Mam Tor in the Peak District. My project, 'Shadow Lands' encapsulates the feeling of a timeless yet ancient landscape, based on the idea of creating a landscape that is not of this time. It has been a journey of creative discovery, starting out initially with a very different idea looking into abstraction and then bringing in the landscape, and working my way through my own ideas through research, photographing and experimentation eventually resulting in my current project. This project is going to be a continuation as I plan on continually working with he lands for my personal work, and I want to carry on producing and eventually working solely with the landscape.
