This collection is inspired by the formations of fungi - the fabrics are designed to have an open flow and movement to it as well as large chunky statement pieces. My inspiration comes from my own photography of mushrooms and interior pieces. My approach to sustainability and design is to use a neutral colour scheme which means the fabrics wouldn’t be treated with chemicals of the dyes, every day and statement knitwear in beautiful earthy tones and neutral shades is designed to be delicate yet functional that is made to be worn for years to come. By using British and Alpaca wools and fibres which will be the focus point of my fabrics by using these it shows sustainability as they both have good factors for the environment as it is antibacterial, water-resistant biodegradable, and breathable.
