Harry Lenton
Hi, I am Harry Lenton and I am an animator. The first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one. For my BA (Hons) Animation course, it was my thesis film, "you are not made of Flesh." It follows a man taking a journey that we all must cross at some point. Death. I was a late comer when it came to art, and at 26, I am one of the oldest on my course. In a way, this film is my attempt to make up for lost time. It is heavily inspired by the 'Bardo Thodol,' otherwise known as 'The Tibetan Book of the Dead,' which in essence is a self help book for those who have died. Helpful right? It describes the 49 day period between death and rebirth where one's spirit is flung upon the winds of karma as it is visited upon by deva and asura and many more until; enlightened, they escape rebirth or unenlightened, they fall back into a new life to continue the cycle. After graduating, I'll be submitting this film to any festival that'll have it whilst I look to start my career as an animator.
