I'm a fashion designer who focuses on motivating women and gives them the freedom to express themselves confidently via their attire. I enjoy creating whimsical and structural designs, and experimenting with fabric surface treatments. My project 'Delicate Interior' explores the relationship between modesty and fashion. I was able to identify how modest fashion can be used to express individual style and personality. This knowledge has equipped me to take on the challenge of producing garments that reflect my vision of modest fashion with a fresh perspective. Through fusing parts of streetwear and couture, it emphasizes modesty as a means of self-expression rather than as a means of oppression. Through the use of renewing textiles to make crystallized appliques, I address environmental sustainability as well as emotional sustainability in my collection.
