My work is figurative and revolves around the everyday and memories, as it focuses on those small moments in their life that made them feel joyful. My work touches upon my own everyday as it depicts people, animals, and items that I interact with on a daily basis. I use post it notes as an alternative to paper, since my practice revolves around memory and post it notes are used to remind people of things; my drawings act like small reminders for my future self to look back on. My practice has become a journal as I try to produce pieces on a daily basis, by capturing moments that made me smile or happy. These pieces are fast to make and still allow me to be in the moment, they let me be creative without interfering too much with my day or disrupting the moment I are trying to capture but still allow me to produce work that I will look back at fondly.
