My name is Abigail Hughes-Wilkie, I work with both personal and found objects and present my work primarily through sculptural installation. I make my conceptual work as a method of expressing my experiences and understanding of my struggle with the cost-of-living crisis, as experienced by many in the current climate of post-pandemic and economic crisis in the UK. I enjoy the physical aspects of making work using tools and materials. Feeling like I am engineering something from scratch is important to me and makes my time spent valuable.
