Yasmin Sketchley
Hi, I’m Yasmin Sketchley and I specialise in printed textiles for womenswear fashion. NTU has allowed me to develop my own project ideas, which I have very much enjoyed. I have been able to base projects around what I like and what I am interested in. I have also loved being able to create projects with both digital and screen prints expanding my physical/digital art and CAD skills. During my second year I got to experience a live project with my team, designing a collection intended for Liberty London. It was one of my proudest moments at university, as my team won, and we got to go on a tour of Liberty, learn about their archives and view old, printed swatch books. My final project, Majestic Chime is based on cathedrals, looking into their history, patterns, and art. During this project, I enjoyed travelling around more of the UK to see different cathedrals. This is something I'd love to continue doing in the future, possibly within my job.
