Suzy Ager
A textile artist and designer using embroidery and print to marry painterly expressive marks with intricate details to express stories relating to the natural world. The foundations of my work are based on hand drawn imagery which I translate into textile outcomes whilst engaging with a slow textiles, hand-crafted ethos and a passion for materials. I strive to create work with meaning that engages the viewer and continually seek ways to enhance the sustainability of my practice. Based in Nottingham, a 2021 First Class Honours Graduate, Textile Design BA Hons and current Masters student, looking to establish a freelance textiles practice.
