Hi, I’m Soraia. I have always been interested in Fashion. It has been a passion of mine since I was little, watching my mum on her sewing machine and using the scraps to create clothes for my Barbies. This has evolved to me having a passion for womenswear and the feminine approach, especially evening wear and wedding dresses. I have always been intrigued by female empowerment and femininity throughout my time at Nottingham Trent University which is what has inspired me to create my own brand, Raia, it means hope. Hope that I’m able to continue on with my brand after University whether it be making or designing but the empowering of women all around the world and of all ages will forever be there.
