I’ve been immersed into the deaf community from a young age and although being deaf has its barriers, I find my deafness has aided my artic and creative eye, as I see the world visually! This made the BA Knitwear course an ideal choice as it combined my visual creative and passion for fashion knitwear design. With my studies completed and I will continue to immerse myself in the fashion world. Future me would like to set up my own small business for knitwear collections, because I love creating knitwear clothing and would love my passion to allow other people to feel beautiful in the clothing I create. I’m looking forward to showcasing the skills I have developed this year, such as dubied, domestic and shima. My aim is to demonstrate powerful and luxurious fashion inspired by ‘Imperial Treasurer’ in the history of art museum in Austria. This is where I found my main inspiration, ‘The Crown’. I’m excited to see my work come to life on the runway.
