I am a Fashion Knitwear Design & Knitted Textiles student in love with colour and texture. I experience a sense of exhilaration when discovering my potential through pushing the boundaries of experimental knitting techniques and combining unconventional materials and creation methods. It never ceases to amaze me how many beautiful and completely different effects and looks can be created when experimenting with fashion and textiles. Throughout my Knitwear Design & Knitted Textiles course, I have enjoyed developing my own design 'handwriting'; an eclectic mixture of unconventional inspirational material and an eye for tactility, colour and atypical yarns and materials. With a new-found confidence in my own design abilities, creativity, my 'outside the box' method of thinking and my particularly keen eye for detail, colour and tactility, I aspire to develop my own fashion knitwear or knitted products brand through which I can continue to exhibit and expand my 'brand' signature.
