As someone hoping to enter the realm of design for film, I have spent my three years at University tailoring my learning experience to gain relevant and transferable skills that will work well within different departments across the design team. My design work is heavily driven by aesthetic and lighting, creating an atmosphere through visuals. As my training has been theatre based, I have a unique and niche design perspective I feel would be a great asset to a film crew and set me apart from other designers. I have been passionate about both film and design for as long as I can remember and I believe I have a critical point of view which when combined with technical abilities such as Photoshop and AutoCAD serve well as a creative in the future.
