With a continuously evolving artistic practice, the common theme between my collection of work centres around the nature of our changing world. Influenced by social, political, and ecological issues, my work partners these themes with a vision of a dystopian future and the idea of what events will lead to mass extinction, or the end of the world. This body of work symbolises a continuing debate and subconscious desire to make predictions about life in the distant future. Subliminal messages, or ‘Easter eggs’, are in abundance in my work, creating a real-life mystery each viewer can interpret and interact with, which I plan to manifest into a collection that creates an extensive and complete narrative. Other areas of my research and practice include derealisation and separating the real from the subconscious, and whether we know where to draw the line.
