My chosen subject area is 3D design. I have explored the digital process from concept to finished designs, investigating how we can be sustainable using this technology on high fashion garments. The focus of design has included creative pattern cutting, solving problems that would usually be resolved after a sample has been made. Through working on a 3D model and 2D pattern window simultaneously, explores a new way of designing garments where decisions on the cut of clothing can be seen instantaneously. Designing with Pattern cutting as part of the decision making on products, is something I would like to continue with in the future.
