I feel strongly that fashion is an artistic and effective way of addressing problems faced in society. It is a constructive art that can translate different perspectives in constructive ways. This is why I chose mental health as the concept behind my collection, using ideas like this gives my work deeper meaning, highlighting what I feel passionately about.Throughout my collection I have used impactful silhouettes and fine details to emulate my concept, this helped by my strengths in pattern cutting and manufacturing that where pushed by my ambition to be as creative as possible. In my future I see myself as a fashion designer working with likeminded individuals that see fashion as transformative. My studies have increased my love for the fashion industry, solidifying as the industry I will be successful in, this paired with my ability to thrive in new and intenser work environment makes me an asset.
