I'm interested in model making and AutoCAD drafting with hopes to endeavour into the field of model making and theatre design. My designs often have an abstract, sculptural approach whilst always intent in using new technologies and also striving to consider sustainability as much as possible. I want my work to relate to the performance meanwhile make a statement alone, allowing my work to resonate with the spectators individually and create a successful atmosphere for the performance. My dissertation on ‘The Ever-Changing Representation of Water in Performance’ allowed me to discover new techniques in design that I would like to replicate, also allowing me to dive deeper into the fascinating history and development of theatre. My most recent work involved realising 'The Tin Can People' with Nottingham College, collaborating with many individuals and peers to create a sustainable set, I look forward to building on these experiences.
