As the Welsh independence movement grows there is much reflection on the past and the true weight of what has been lost over time. This collection of knitting patterns has drawn visual inspiration from aspects of Welsh history and culture; from the traditional motifs of the Welsh blankets to the Welsh costume, a contemporary collection of samples has taken shape. These fabrics, and their corresponding hand knit patterns exist for all those who wish to celebrate Welsh language and culture, while also taking part in Wales' long-established textile history.
