Emma Wall
Hiya, I'm Emma! I enjoy testing different methods of creating work, combining the hand-rendered and digital, and I love bridging the gap between craft and graphics. This year I fostered an interest in packaging design with my "Granola Infusions" project, where I created the packaging for a cereal and oat drink product. The experience helped me develop my communication skills with clients, a useful skill as my goal is to work in a design agency. My passion for craft shines through in my craftivism project, where I created "yarn bombs" of different pride flags and other LGBTQ+ related pieces. The main campaign of this project can be found on the Instagram account "@CloseKnitNotts". This year I also took on the role of President for Nottingham Trent University Pride Society. I really enjoyed organising events and meeting society members. I received a student leadership certificate from Nottingham Trent Student Union for my work in this role.
