Throughout my time at Nottingham Trent University I’ve completed a variety of projects for my degree as well as personal. For my final project I chose to create a set of designs and two costumes for a TV adaptation of the book The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It gave me the opportunity to carry out detailed research for both historically accurate and fantastical characters. During the construction of two of the costumes of was able to learn and experiment with textiles, and push my skills to create multiple hard makes. Overall, I specialise in design, and have experience using various digital design software's to create well-crafted and professional looking designs. I also have good experience creating both tailored and structural costumes. I have a passion for textiles and discovering technologies or methods to create creative and beautiful elements In my costumes in order to bring both mine and other's designs to life.
