Olá, my name is Catarina. I am a Portuguese soon-to-be Graphic Design graduate with a passion for branding and illustration as well as an affinity for projects that encompass matters such as conscious female representation, mental health and cultural representation. My work aims to connect with people through their personal experiences - providing not only a sense of comfort and nostalgia, through projects like "Nandrops", but also reflection and confrontation with situations that need addressing, exemplified by my project "Emotional awareness - packaging for your emotions". After gaining some experience working at a marketing and design agency in Portugal for the past year and a half, I aim to pursue new work experiences in the UK and develop my design practice by being a part of projects that amplify the discourse for positive change and acceptance of those who feel misrepresented.
