Urban environment is an exciting project inspired by everyday ordinary things such as road signs and street markings and making them into an edgy contemporary fashion streetwear collection aimed at men. I specialise in embroidery, but loved using digital print for this project to communicate colour and texture. As someone who is very relaxed and laid back, I replicated this in my work with raw edges and continuous fluid lines, as well as thick marker graffiti style designs. This project has completely transformed the way I see the world and enabled me to see design and potential in the most normal of things. For example you see a dirty set of stairs, I see the grittiness of a vibrant energetic city. After graduation I would like to pursue a creative career.
