Massi showcases ‘Modern Armour’, a high end menswear collection, that utilises contemporary artworks, east Asian iconography and military-spec fabrics for outdoor, performance clothing. Built for survivalists for the future landscape, this collection simulates a range of durable weatherproofing, insulating and antimicrobial properties, to escalate the wearer’s relationship with their surroundings. ‘Modern Armour’ is a conceptual exploration into the future landscape, featuring a comic book that follows the journey of ‘Matcha', travelling through tough climates with the help of her protective garments. Visualising this work through a brand character allows it to be presented in an innovative and playful way.
