Recent graduate with knowledge and expertise in media production, and a background in marketing and filmmaking. I have worked on several projects from pre-production stages to final distribution. Strong organizational and time management skills utilized to great effect under pressure to bring productions to life. My final year project, a short film “Self-talk, Honey”, an experimental documentary that reflected upon social norms and stigmas surrounding gender, size and race in the fashion industry and how these issues affect our views of the self. The project challenged preconceived notions of representation, aiming to explore the idea of inclusivity and boundary-less fashion in everyday lives. As producer, I developed a marketing campaign to build an audience which included a crowdfunding campaign to finance the film. The project was an opportunity to work and support an upcoming artist from Nottingham and give them a platform to talk about issues regarding race, gender and identity.
