I am Linlin Su, a fashion designer. I have been working in couture in China for eight years, designing red carpet dresses for a number of celebrities and running a menswear couture shop. This year my postgraduate project is focused on zero-waste designs, incorporating laser cutting technology into zero-waste designs, using the most basic rectangular shape, and giving different amounts of stretch to different parts of the fabric by designing different laser cutting patterns, incorporating the garment saving into the laser cutting patterns to fit the body curves. Dedicated to reducing fabric waste in the garment industry and contributing to sustainable development.
